It is kind of funny that Heroes is written with the decompressed storytelling technique that people are so sick of in actual comics.

That said, I find the writers are almost telepathically responding to the wishes that I have at the end of each episode, so as long as I feel like they are on top of things, I will probably keep watching and enjoying. I hate the experience of watching a film or TV show and identifying a big plot hole or problem that could have been easily avoided.

As for blowing up New York, I have a feeling that involves the Human Bomb that we met in the latest episode. Remember what happened to Captain Atom in Kingdom Come?

Whoops, sorry about that!

It seems like every episode has something good in it, but one or two good things doesn't make for a good episode. None of the episodes have made me think, "Gee, that was a good episode." Like I said, I think it needs some serious editing and compression.

Oops, you linked to a 'friends-locked' post on my LJ. I watched the first five episodes Sunday night and loved it, but agree that the writers could get things going, such as who exactly plans to blow up Nu Yawk. Monday's episode dragged, but liked the development on Matt's character.
